although fujoshi in the east are not problematic per se, many westerners/english speakers adopt the term fujoshi and use it incorrectly. in my experience, most western fujoshi are actually just mlm/wlw fetishists. unlike japanese fujoshi, there is no need to separate yourself as a fujoshi in a western environment where lgbtq+ media is largely tolerated. for that reason, unless you are in an online space where lgbtq+ content isn’t tolerated (which, if you found this carrd, you’re almost definitely not) you don’t have a valid reason to identify as a fujoshi other than just being a blatant fetishist. dm if you want further explanation.
